This year again, the French community and the Alliance Française du Manitoba invite Winnipeggers to celebrate Bastille Day, in a demonstration of French joie de vivre. Blues, Blanc, Rouge is a free outdoor event with music by Suzanne Kennelly, artisanal cheese, waffles and wine tastings, and more!

Amateur or semi-professional photographer, her comes an exciting opportunity to share your talents! Participate to Fondation Alliance Française photo contest on the theme of "Fashion and Dress Codes". Send two photographs to culture@afmanitoba.ca before June 15 to enter the local contest here in Manitoba and get a chance to win an Alliance Française du Manitoba annual membership. To celebrate Fête de la Musique, the Alliance Française du Manitoba presents the concert of À La Mode! Their synth pop music will help us welcome summer with a friendly crowd! Join us in our space for a concert full of emotion and excentric humour, in a cosy atmosphere! With the support of Le 100 Nons and UMFM.

Alliance Française French Film Festival is back for its third edition with a brand new theme: L'amour et la Violence! Organized by Alliance Française du Manitoba and Winnipeg Cinematheque as a part of the 22nd edition of the French Language and Francophonie week, the Alliance Française French Film Festival is an invitation to discover films from different times and places and experience the sophisticated, vibrant and daring films from France. All films are shown at Winnipeg Cinematheque and come with English subtitles.
This year again, Winnipeg director, producer and DJ Damien Ferland was the guest programmer.
With the support of INSTITUT FRANÇAIS, Cinémental, On Screen Manitoba, Culture Card and Winnipeg Film Group.
