ONLINE Summer Camps for kids

Learn French and have fun this summer!

Through a variety of interactive and original activities, children embark on a journey through culture and French language! The main objective is to develop confidence in oral and written French within an immersive and virtual environment with French language activities and a unique blend of fun.

Our Camps are 100% online and are tailored for kids between the age of 6 and 14 years old. Children will be divided in two groups (6-10 years old and 11-14 years old). All levels are accepted, from beginner to advanced levels. Please note that we cannot accept any registration for children under the age of 6.

Daily Schedule

Students are invited to connect online with the link sent by the teacher prior to the start of the class. We ask parents to be present, at least at the beginning and at the end of each lesson.

A Different Theme each Week

Week	Theme	Description
July 6th to 10th  August 10th to 14th	Nature	Discover the fauna and flora of our planet in French! We will embark together on a journey to learn more about animals, their habits and their habitats.
July 13rd to 17th August 17th to 21st	Visual Arts	Discover the visual arts: cinema, theatre, mime, circus in French! Together we will go backstage and learn about characters and techniques.
July 20th to 24th	Time Travellers	Come with us for a journey through time! We invite you to discover History from the Big Bang, dinosaurs, Middle Ages and more! Last stop: present time. Grab your time machines and come explore History with us!
July 27th to 31st August 24th to 28th	Comics	Discover the universe of Francophone comics! Learn more about Tintin, the Smurfs, Lucky Luke and many more!

Required equipment

Participants must join the virtual class with:

• A computer or tablet
• A stable internet connection
• A microphone, headphones and a webcam

Please make sure that your child is in a quiet environment at home to ensure that the class runs smoothly.

Registration Process

 Please register at least one week before the start of the camp to ensure availability.

Refunds and credit notes

Tuition fees are non-refundable unless a student provides AFM with written notice (info@afmanitoba.ca) that he or she intends to withdraw from a course, at least the business day prior to the start of the course (before close of business). A $25 administrative fee will be retained.

Credit notes towards another collective course will be issued to a student who withdraws from a course. Please note that absence from class does not constitute notice of withdrawal. A written request to info@afmanitoba.ca is required. Credit notes are valid for a period not exceeding one year from the last attended class. Credit will be based on the number of hours remaining in the course after the day the notice of intent to withdraw is received by AFM. Credit will not be granted for missed classes.
