Le Théâtre Cercle Molière et l’Alliance française du Manitoba s'allient pour la diffusion du spectacle « Ubu sur la table ». La compagnie Théâtre de la Pire Espèce est à Winnipeg pour leur pièce Villes au TCM, mais elle présentera Ubu sous forme de «pop-up » à l'Alliance. La qualité de cette adaptation d'Ubu roi a maintes fois été saluée; depuis sa création en 1998, le spectacle a été joué plus de 850 fois en Amérique et en Europe! Venez nous rejoindre pour transformer l'Alliance en théâtre pour une soirée!
Théâtre Cercle Molière and the Alliance française du Manitoba are joining forces for the presentation of Ubu on the table. The company Théâtre de la Pire Espèce is in town for the production Villes at Cercle Molière, but will be doing a pop-up performance of Ubu at Alliance. Their award-winning adaptation of King Ubu has garnered much praise; since its creation, Ubu has been performed over 850 times in Québec, Mexico, Brazil, and Europe! Join us and turn Alliance into a theatre for the night!

Là où poussent les coquelicots est un documentaire que nous présentons dans le cadre du centenaire de la fin de la Première Guerre Mondiale. D’où viennent les images de guerre qui hantent notre imaginaire? Voir la Grande Guerre, ne plus se contenter de la raconter, mais la montrer et l’incarner: voilà ce que propose aujourd’hui la bande dessinée. Ces artistes majeurs ont fait de la Grande Guerre le sujet principal de leur récit graphique. En leur compagnie, nous chercherons à esquisser la mémoire fragmentée d’une chronique dessinée de 14-18.
Where the Poppies Grow is a documentary that we present in the context of the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. Where do the haunting images of this war come from? These comic book writers want not only to tell the story of the war, but also to show and embody it. Diving deep into the archives, the authors revive the Great War in our imagination. With them, we will try to sketch the fragmented memory of this historic global milestone.
