Dictée Gabrielle-Roy 2022

The 5^th edition of the Dictée Gabrielle Roy will take place on March 17^th 2022 at 4:45 PM Winnipeg time (UTC-6), during the Francophonie Week!

For the fith year, the Alliance Française du Manitoba and the Maison Gabrielle-Roy are organizing this event to honor the famous fanco-manitoban writer, Gabrielle Roy, and to celebrate the French language.

On D-day, the Dictée will be launched from Winnipeg and broadcasted live around the world. You can either participate face-to-face in the center closest to you, i.e. online.

Everyone is welcomed, no matter your level of French!

How does it work ?

Participate in-person

Many Alliances Françaises and organisms reunite together for this special day ! To find your closest in-person location, click on your country and city in the form below, and then register on the eventbrite link. Deadline to register is March 14^th 2022.

If you don't have a center near you, you can still participate from the comfort of your house. You will thus follow our live-event which takes place in Winnipeg. Connect on the Youtube-Live link at 4:45 pm (GMT -6), on 17th March.

What do I need to participate ?

In-person : a pen and a paper, a proof of complete vaccination and your Eventbrite registration (filled in the form above)
Online : a Youtube and internet connexion, something to write on and an email on which we will send you a link a few days before the event

And for the children ?

The Maison Gabrielle-Roy, Jeux Sam Amuse and the Alliance Française du Manitoba invite you to participate in the Dictée Gabrielle-Roy Junior at school or with your family!

The online format is flexible and accessible from March 1 to 31. Upon registration, you will receive the link to the videos and printable activity kits that accompany each of the three dictations.
