For its 4th edition, the Gabrielle-Roy Dictation will take a whole new dimension. The event, created 4 years ago by the joint

This Saturday, at noon, we invite you to meet the author Kim Thúy. Kim Thúy is a Montreal-based award-winning novelist and short story writer. Born in Saigon, Vietnam, she and her family were among thousands who fled the country on boat after the fall of Saigon. They later settled in Quebec, without speaking French. Now, Kim Thúy writes in French and is a very successful author!

Presented by the 9 Alliances Françaises of Canada, Make Music will feature amateur and professional artists from different linguistic and ethnic backgrounds, to represent Canada’s diversity. This celebration will take place online on June 21st.
We are pleased to present our Comic Contest in collaboration with the Alliance Française network in Canada! You are invited to prepare a short comic, in French, on the following theme: “While human beings are confined, animals take back their power on earth…” Draw the rest of the story! Participants will be divided into three age categories: children (7-12 years old), teens (13-17 years old) and adults.
